On April 8, 2025, the Research Institute for Defense and Military Security Problems Study of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan will hold an international military-scientific conference on the topic: “Current issues of regional security in the context of global transformations. Problems, solutions, prospects”.
In the context of a profound transformation of the world order and the balance of power at the global and regional levels, the problematic field of security is the object of close attention and study.
Putting increasing pressure on the state of the international situation, modern challenges and threats are essentially of a transboundary nature and complex nature, which complicates the task of their objective understanding and adequate response.
Growing instability and unpredictability obviously multiplies the number of new negative trends that pose a threat to general stability and security, sustainable and dynamic development of most states.
In these conditions, the conference format is relevant and important for the development of effective measures to ensure stability and sustainable development of the Central Asian countries.
